On the users online number in parenthesis it includes all of the guests online instead of registered users (or friends) online. Is there a way to fix this?

darklrd commentedHi mutami,
Have you enabled 'access drupalchat' permission for anonymous user? If yes, please disable it.
Update: I tried to re-create this issue but was unable to do so? Can you provide me some more information? Are you using the latest version of DrupalChat?
mutami commentedI am using the latest version of drupalchat yes. I have permissions enabled for authenticated users and administrators. The website is http://www.thedailynut.com if you want to see what I mean. It does this in both long polling and AJAX modes. Also I tested to see what would happen if I open a bunch of different windows for my site, and the number jumps in unison with the number of windows I have open so it might have something to do with counting that.

darklrd commentedHi mutami,
I checked your website. You have enabled permissions for anonymous users also. Please disable them.
Update: I was wrong. Even if you set the permissions for anonymous users, this module won't load itself(for anonymous users). The problem lies somewhere else. I tried logging out from your site but was unable to do so. I mean the same logged in page is displayed after logging out.

mutami commentedhmm.. I will look into that.
soelver commentedI have the same issue.
Have had up to 12 online, while we're only 2 (at best 4, since we sometimes are logged in twice, both of us, in different browsers).
The number is changing by the second, up and down.
I don't know what it's counting.

darklrd commentedHi soelver,
Is your site accessible over internet? It will be easier to debug if I could access it once because I am unable to recreate this scenario at my end?

soelver commentedHi darklrd,
I had to remove the module, since it seemed to cause the site to be very slow. But we're still developing, and I'll try to add it again when we're done, so I'm sure everything else is running smoothly. Then it's easier to find out, what's really causing the problems. This was the latest module I installed, before it started to slow down.
Although, I really am confused, because it ran well for several hours, and then suddenly it got very slow.
As said, we're still devoloping, so maybe it's another module instead.
Hope to be finished with the rest in about a week, and will return with a more specific feedback, when I try to reinstall :)
I really like this module, so would be great to have it working on the site.
We're migrating about 16k users from an old site and another system, so it's important that everything works perfectly :)

The current code will cause systems with a large user database to lag. But we are making some large performance fixes at the moment.
You should see a performance boost in the next release! :)

Looking forward to that.
