We have a page.tpl.php and a page-admin.tpl.php - one for the main site, and then one for the admin section.. Here is what we added to the function below:

function phptemplate_preprocess_page(&$vars) {
  $vars['tabs2'] = menu_secondary_local_tasks();

 if ($hook == 'page') {
  switch ($hook) {
   case 'page':
    if (arg(0) == '' ||
      arg(0) == 'admin' ||
      arg(2) == 'revisions' ||
      arg(0) == 'banner' ||
      arg(0) == 'devel' ||
      (arg(0) == 'node' && arg(1) == 'add') ||
      (arg(0) == 'node' && arg(2) == 'edit')  ||
      (arg(0) == 'admin' && arg(1) == 'user' && arg(2) == 'create')) {
       $vars['template_file'] = 'page-admin';
    }
   break;

  }
 }

  // Hook into color.module
  if (module_exists('color')) {
    _color_page_alter($vars);
  }
}

For some reason when you try to "Create Content" or edit content even, it uses the main site template and not the admin template. I have seen this happen before but I completely forget why and how... any help would be appreciated! :)

Is support still needed for this issue? If so, you can switch back to active. Otherwise, I recommend we close this issue.
