I had installed Drupal 6.14 version earlier. But due to virus problems, i had to re-install the Windows XP. I had made proper backup of the database and the installation files of the site. After the windows installation and WAMP5, i tried to go to localhost.
It opened the page. The I had gone to my project name like http://localhost/mysite/ it displayed the login page.
But now, when i try to open any link on that very page like "about us", "Contact Us" --- all the stuff gets redirected to WAMP5 homepage but the url remains like http://localhost/mysite/about or http://localhost/mysite/contact respectively.
Even at the login time, its being redirected to the same WAMP5 Homepage. The version of Wamp I use is WAMP 2.0 c.
http://localhost/mysite/?q=admin I tried but led me to a page which says access denied.

Please!!! help me out with this. I have to submit my project else I will have to start from start.

Probably missed your deadline, but I found a fix.

I migrated a site to a local machine and had the same issue. Turns out it's a "Clean URLs" issue.

Looks like this is fixed (was also submitted for the wrong project).
