Where did "Anonymous posters must enter their contact information" go? It's no longer under admin/structure/types/manage/contenttype, and if it's even present in the admin UI, it's buried.

Is this related to #280398: Centralize and improve granularity of anonymous user settings?

It's more than just the anonymous commenting settings. Many settings described at http://api.drupal.org/api/function/comment_form_node_type_form_alter/7 are not present.

I am logged in as user 1.

Disregard. All this happened because anonymous commenting is disabled by default. Is this consistent with other products?

@Aren - why would you want to be able to change settings that are not used? If Anon users cannot comment, what sense does it make to specify whether they must enter their contact information, when they can't comment anyway?

The point is that these features were unavailable because D7 has anon commenters disabled by default, a change from D6. Other systems I've experienced generally allow anon commenting by default.

Is there still a problem here? There has been no activity here for 3 months. I guess this one is by design and not critical, but feel free to disagree.
