Based on some recent work on some issues for update status, and since we sadly had to take Earl Miles off as a co-maintainer (for obvious lack-of-bandwidth reasons), I'd like to propose that we officially make Dave Reid a co-maintainer for update status. Recent issues he's helped:

#162788: Include modules that aren't enabled
#445748: Add hook_update_projects_alter()
#499828: Wrong release date on multi-module projects
...

He's currently helping me make progress on the Update status initiatives. Having a co-maintainer who can really understand this (fairly complicated) module, how it interacts with drupal.org, and help review patches as we try to vastly improve the test coverage and harden the D7 release would be a big help. It's been on my list for a while now to find a co-maintainer, and Dave seems like the perfect candidate. He even said 'yes' when I asked him about it. ;)

Feels dirty to RTBC an issue about me.

Hardly! It's proof to Dries and webchick that you're agreeing to this and I'm not just making it up. ;)

Darn, there goes my plan to add you to the maintainers of a module that everyone hates in core. Something bad like poll or profile...
