Hi All,

I have to create my site for the users as an admin , then give them permissions to access and edit their own pages. For that I have created roles and give those roles permisions only to edit their own page or category and so on..

If I create a page ( I'm admin) and then change the authoring information to a diferente user name ( like simon_supervisor) when I log in as simon_supervisor I cannot edit it.??

If I'm logged as simon_supervisor and create a page, authoring is by defauld in my name , so I always be able to edit it...

I have checked the database and in that node author seems to be supervisor, but when log in as it, doesn't have the right to edi..

Any sugesstions???

I have installed devel module to check permission and it tell me of course that my supervisor can :
view update delete
simon_supervisor yes no yes

Please help...

hi alesuz,

sorry I won't be able to help you.. I stop working on this for a while.. I'll have to continue soon. But reading around , I saw something related to the cron and how sometimes things are not updated due to cron maintainence &/or bad configurations.. In my case , I supect can be some kind of cache in my database...

please if you find anything let me know.. I'll keep you posted.

Try to rebuild node access in the administration page.
