I came back to work after a long weekend and my drupal site asked me to re-log in. I did. It said that my user name or password wasn't recognized. I tried resetting the password in the database privileges. I tried resetting the password in the settings.php file. Nothing has worked. I can't get in to edit my site, which is really frustrating. Any ideas?

wretched sinner - saved by grace commentedIt sounds like it is not the password in your settings.php or database, but your login password to the site. Have you used the "request new password" link on the login page?

rahr commentedi have, but I have a problem with that as well. My only email is a yahoo account, and the drupal page doesn't seem to like it.

wretched sinner - saved by grace commentedWhat error message do you get? Can you describe a bit more what you mean by the drupal page doesn't seem to like it.

EvanDonovan commentedrahr: It might be that the password reset link is getting cut off in your mail client: see #199151: One-time login & password reset links are truncated in plain-text emails.
If nothing else works, you could change your password in the {users} table (using PHPMyAdmin or a similar tool). The password field is stored as an md5 hash, so you'd have to pick a new password, then use something like the md5 Hash Generator to turn it into a value to save in the field.
