Id like to be able to set specified nodes or content types to reload the node content seamlessly and automatically at a set interval. I guess this would have to be done with AJAX.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to do this, or is there a module that can do something like this?

Id be happy with a quick fix if there is something i can put in a content template which would do it.
