When, in a node, the !--break-- code is used to set ALL content in the teaser, the 'Read More' link appears though there is nothing more to read.

Cause : I think the !--break-- at the end of a node confuses Drupal because the teaser and the node look as if they have a different lenght.

This problem is in the most recent version of Drupal 4.2, I don't know if it's also in Drupal 4.3.

BUT I think this is a bug and makes user waste time clicking on 'Read more'.

Title: 'Read More' appears even when there is nothing more to read » Erratum: 'Read More' appears even when there is nothing more to read

I now believe this bug only occurs with the nodes I created using xstory.module (contribution).

The 'Read More' does not appear for nothing with the normal story.module

My mistake.

As you can read in my previous update, this issue is closed and I wouldn't mind if it was deleted (it's my error).
