I would really like to use this module with drupal 4.3.0.
I already worked on it though its not functional yet. What should I do instead of posting the code here?

My my version of the module is working with drupal 4.3.0 so far.

See also the cache enabled version of AmazonSearchEngine.class.inc.

Who makes a 4.3.0 version of the catalog module?

i noticed your version doesn't work with db table prefixes
and i'm having some other problems :

instead of passing a $uid to catalog_page_user() it's passing "catalog" ... not sure why, my uid is 1.
