My site consists of a front page and some forums. What I would like is for the front page to have new forum topics from one particular forum to be automatically promoted to the front page (in a blog style). Is this possible?
Thanks in advance for any help.

jbrauer commentedBy default you can have all posts of a particular type (forum posts) promoted to the front page. Alternatively you may want to look into the rules module to apply an action conditionally depending upon which forum the post is for. Also this is a forum support request as it is not related to the Forum Thread module.

modified-1 commentedI have now managed to achieve what I'd hoped to do. In the end, it is quite a simple solution - not particularly elegant, but it easily does the job.
I have used Views to create a front page, and filtered by Taxonomy, using the names of the fora I wish to have displayed on the front page.
I hope this can be of use to someone else.
