Registration email was working when I first installed drupal.

Now it's not working. I have uninstalled all my extra modules but can't get emails to get sent out.
Creating test accounts results in this.

Your password and further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address.

No email ever gets sent out.

I do have the Contact Module enabled and I can send email from the contact page.
The Site email is the same as the contact page.

Any Ideas?

I am also having this problem. All other email functions work except registration. The user shows up as a user, but they never receive an email. I have tested several different email clients with the same result - they are not registered as spam, they simply are not being sent. I am using 5.16.

Boy do I feel silly. I went into Site information and changed the E-mail address from admin@localhost to admin@mysitename.org and now the registration emails are working just fine! I hope this is all it takes for some of you who are having this problem.

Thanks wildlettuce for reply, i already setup the email address to admin@mysitename.com but no luck. it was working before installing some module(hope login destination is one). is any other suggestion which help, thanks again

This Is error From Log File, Can you suggest any thing about "connect from localhost[127.0.0.1]" ,"stat=Sent (Ok: queued as 312392E85A8)" And From Field Missing

Hi All,

The Problem Was Not with Drupal, Its with Server. After Getting Good Suggestion from Drupal Forum and Tech Support of server , we got that mail function was not sending mail its queuing them. The Solution For That is Simple Just Stop And Start the Sendmail process(/etc/init.d/sendmail stop/start).
