I would like to nominate Mohit Aghera as (mohit_aghera) as File sub-system co-maintainer.
There are currently 360 open issues tagged as 'file system' or 'file.module', and only one maintainer (myself kim.pepper). That is a lot for one person.
Mohit (mohit_aghera) has been active in the file issue queue triaging issues and adding tests. He has been on d.o. for 15+ years, more than 130 core commit credits and has active in the Drupal community in event organisation and bug smash initiative. He is experienced and committed.
He would be welcome help as a File sub-system co-maintainer.

- I understand the high-level description of maintainers and is comfortable with it.
- I agree to the subsystem maintainer responsibilities.

quietone commentedI have worked on issues with @mohit_aghera and also reviewed their work in others. As I recall, I found their comments thorough, polite and easy to ready such that I knew exactly what was done and why. This helped make reviews easier and is very much appreciated.

xjmAlso definitely +1 on Mohit's appointment; he's definitely demonstrated both the history of contribution and the good collaboration and communication we want to see in subsystem maintainers. And we have the signoff from the other maintainer of the system with the initial IS. :)
