I just installed the current CVS (with a fresh database).
I selected a new theme - all blocks vanished. Ok, not a critical problem, I rembered that I can active the blocks on admin/block, so I manually went to that path.
But then, I wanted to change some theme settings on admin/themes/settings:
- only "global settings" and "blue marine" was there, although I enabled 3 themes
- no configuration options can be saved:
-- I get the message "The configuration options have been saved", but it's not true. Nothing happens. (critical)

dumbo12 commentedThink you have the same problem as described in http://drupal.org/node/33347.
If you are using Linux just create the files directory and give the right permissions.
On windows i don't get it work!!! An other Problem is that the Blocks are missing.
Only BlueMarine show them. Why ?!

dfg commentedNo, it's not the same problem!
And I also have a writable files directory.
Comment #3
dfg commentedI now traced the code:
The settings are saved one by one in system_settings_form_execute(). Every setting hat it's variable_set($key, $value);
On the other side, the settings are retrieved in theme_get_settings() with a single call from variable_get(), expecting an array with all options!

chx commentedYes. I found this out, too. I already tried renaming the checkboxes to theme_settings and '#tree' => TRUE without too much success....
system_setings_form_executedeals with arrays in a special way because of other forms. It's quite possible that I'll need to write another execute function for this page.Comment #5
chx commentedThis is duplicate and fixed. Regions bug is being worked on by Goba , and I fixed theme settings in todays' forms API fix bundle.
