The BootStrap module reports a failure message even though all tests have passed. To reproduce the error just run the BootStrap testing script. Each individual test will pass but a message is still reported saying that "The tests did not successfully finish." It is expected that the BootStrap module would report that the tests have finished successfully.

I have worked at isolating the problem and have come up with the following results. In short, I believe that one of the tests is not setting the input parameters to _simpletest_batch_finished() correctly.

In this table, 1 means the test has been run by checking the appropriate box.

IP Address test, Page cache test, Variable test: Result
---
111: The tests did not successfully finish. 11 passes, 0 fails, 0 exceptions
110: Pass, no error message.
101: The tests did not successfully finish. 8 passes, 0 fails, 0 exceptions
100: Pass, no error message.
011: The tests did not successfully finish. 11 passes, 0 fails, 0 exceptions
010: Pass, no error message.
001: The tests did not successfully finish.

I can't duplicate this. I ran a fresh install of HEAD and all the bootstrap tests ran successfully for me. I tried running the 'Bootstrap' group and an individual bootstrap test.

I duplicated this using both the November 4th and November 5th builds. I checked out drupal HEAD, added the SimpleTest module and tested the Bootstrap module. Although all tests passed, I still receive a message saying

Running SimpleTests
An error has occurred.
Please continue to the error page

An error occurred.
/drupal/batch?id=3&op=do
(no information available).

After continuing the the error page I receive the message
The tests did not successfully finish

16 passes, 0 fails, and 0 exceptions

----
This has been tested on Firefox on Windows XP Professional.

As an aside, I'm not sure if this is relevant but when I checkout Drupal head (which I used to run these tests) I receive this error
cvs checkout: Updating drupal/themes/yaroon/images
cvs checkout: Updating drupal/updates
cvs checkout: dying gasps from cvs.drupal.org unexpected

This bug is present on all tests in my environment, not just Bootstrap. I receive the same error testing Aggregator, Block, Blog, etc ...

I will continue to investigate.
