Page cache is set to "normal".
Cache lifetime from 10 to 30 min. - no matter.
By tracking the cache_page table I noticed that only 404 pages and feeds are cached.
It was OK in Drupal version 5.8 now it is not working.

seaji commentedI really need page cache.
Please help!
Devel module shows that for anonymous user there is "SELECT data, created, headers, expire FROM cache_page" query but never INSERT or UPDATE.

This isn't good.

drummI am unable to reproduce this. Were you logged out? Pages are not cached for logged-in users.

seaji commentedI tracked my two sites:
http://rodinakino.ru - 500 - 600 visitors per day
http://online.be-in.ru - 5000 - 8000 visitors per day
Do you think that all visitors were loged-in???
Drupal 5.10
CCK, Views
And again:
By tracking the "cache_page" table I noticed that only 404 pages and feeds are cached.
It was OK in Drupal version 5.8 now it is not working.

dpearcefl commentedConsidering the time elapsed between now and the last comment plus the fact that D5 is no longer supported, I am closing this ticket.
