I am Using Dru pal 5.9 and i need support on Email Validation. In create account when we enter the email address as example@example it will accept and by drupal forum i find that it is correct according to some standard(RST..). Now i want the following validation format when i enter following in address field and submit for validation:
example -- Invalid
example@example --Invalid
example@example. --Invalid
mean i want only example@example.com(it may be any std like.co, .uk etc) is valid.
can anybody help on this. Thanks in Advance

ainigma32 commentedWrite a (minimalistic) module and add a hook_form_alter that doesn't actually change the form but only adds validation on the email address. See here http://groups.drupal.org/node/4308#comment-15623 for some more info.
