Block pages visibility conditional failing on wildcards with certain characters

When using a block and applying only a Pages Visibility Condition for a path that contains wildcard, when one of the wildcard values in the path contains one of the following characters [-_.] it will treat the path as an invalid one, when it actually meets the conditional criteria.

Scenario:
Custom Block A with Pages Visibility on the following Path: /path1/*/path3

A. Custom Block will appear on:

• /path1/path2/path3

B. Custom Block will not appear on:

• /path1/path-2/path3
• /path1/path_2/path3
• /path1/path.2/path3
