Currently when adding customized fields to the profiles of users you have the following choices for visibility:

Private field, content only available to privileged users.
Public field, content shown on profile page but not used on member list pages.
Public field, content shown on profile page and on member list pages.

What I would like to see is an option for the user to allow certain data in their profile to be shown publicly.
