I am using tinymce with Img_assist. On the book page the image doesnot appear inside the editor, though preview and after posting it does display.

It works inside normal story node and page node. This problem is only in book node.

Yeah, I also get this display bug (only on book nodes) with img_assist CVS and TinyMCE (CVS, too).

I don't know what could be causing this. Img_assist does work with book pages in the latest version for Drupal 4.7.

I have a new Drupal web project that has no additional projects attached so I am working with only the Core and built in modules. It has the same issue with image display. Fixing this is outside my skill set. Oddly, the image displays perfectly fine in the Printer Friendly Version but not the book page. Frustration ++

Any news on this or has it been left for a random 'skilled' person to fix?
