I have come across a problem after entering in French content to an internationalized site whereby certain html character classes (i.e &) Are printed out to the browser as a literal string rather than their html counterparts.
Any help appreciated with a fix for this issue.

fgmThis kind of problem is typically not related to the translation itself but to a module misformatting content. Can you reproduce the problem on a site with just core modules, no contrib module, and only a core theme ?

andrenoronha commentedi've got this problem when trying to implement some share itens icons...
some of them are getting the title without utf-8 encoding....
how can i resolve this?

damien tournoud commentedThe title field is plaintext. You can't put any HTML in it, it will be printed literally. Reassigning to Core and closing.

avangelist commentedTo follow up from my original post. My resolve was to do search and replaces on the column in MySql.
