dawehnerPlease actually explain what you did ... say what a "embed" is, provide the views configurations you have etc.
Just this, will not help anyone to help you.
mo86 commentedJust create a view and then add two different "Embed" in the tab navigation of the view. "Embed" is one of the options like "Block, Entity Reference etc" if you click on "Add".
Sorry but Drupal calls it "Embed" so I thought I should use this word, too.
dawehnerIn order to change it, you currently first have to click on full and then override the display.
mo86 commentedI dont get your point. My problem is that changing the "pager settings" in an Embed display also overrides the "pager settings" for all the other Embed displays in that view.
ajalan065 commented@dawehner, even changing the pager ID does not help in this case.
I even tried to override the ID in the code, but still of no help.
And not only in two embeds, this issue is applicable to all sections, including page, block, etc.
Still working on it, to get it solved.

mo86 commentedI am sorry but isn't it a really big thing? I mean for me that means that the whole view system is not useable.
@ajalan065: Is there any way to help you? I think this should be also moved to the 8.1 release. What do you think?

dawehnerConsider posting maybe an export view ... I also doubt that this is just the case for embedded views.
ajalan065 commentedI am not able to get any way out to the solution. As I mentioned previously, even changing the ID does not help.
However, I can not surely call it as a bug as well, as the creation of any new type requires a starting point to duplicate it on/create a new type (which seems to be the case here).
Looking forward for more suggestions on this issue.
mo86 commented@ajalan065 why do you think this is NOT a bug? For me the whole view system is not usable. Why should all view displays (page, embed etc) have the same settings? It doesnt make any sense to me. Its not about the creation of a new one. Even if you update already existing displays the settings for all displays will be overwritten.
ajalan065 commented@mo86, according to me, this issue would fit better under Feature Request, rather than Bug report. Hence I commented that I can not surely call it a bug.

dawehnerHere is a video of how to configure a view with two embedded displays to have two different pager IDs.
