I have two fields in one of content type.

Ex, field names:

1. Post code
2. Area name

I have created views page, where it list all the filed values corresponding content type. In this page i have filter section, where user can filter the values based on either postcode/Area name.

Once user enter the values either postcode/area name, corresponding list of nodes needs to get filter.

How to achieve this while using views module.?

Please follow the below steps to achieve this:

Step 1: Goto view page where you created this page.

Step 2: Under "FILTER CRITERIA" Section, there is the filter option called "Global: Combine fields filter" select that option.

Step 3: Select "Expose this filter to visitors, to allow them to change it".

Step 4: Under Configure filter criterion: Global: Combine fields filter settings.
a. Select "Filter type to expose" by "Single filter".
b. Below "Operator" section, select "Contains" from the drop down.
c. In "Choose fields to combine for filtering" Select the multiple fields as you need(Post code & Area name).
d. click on "Apply"

Step 5: Save view page.
