follow-up to : #2304969: Port private files access bypass from SA-CORE-2014-003

Discussing with @berdir. We set an access property on Drupal\Core\Field\Plugin\Field\FieldType\EntityReferenceItem, but it would be better to have a method that handled the logic automatically.

That went in and now we don't have any access property on ERitem.

IMHO it is a won't fix in the light of #2374019: Cleanup the use of custom item properties in EntityReferenceFormatterBase. If someone disagree please reopen.
