Either I'm doing something wrong, or this is a bug.
I created a Page called 'Access Denied' and gave it the path 'access_denied' using the path module.
When I entered 'access_denied' into the Error Reporting->Default 403 field, I got the following error message:
The path 'access_denied' is either invalid or you do not have access to it.
This doesn't make any sense since I'm administrator and I've given myself all privileges possible. Additionally, I've confirmed the page 'access_denied' is indeed valid.
Thanks for your help.

kevinweber commentedHowever, if I enter 'node/2', the process works.
I checked the function 'menu_get_item', which returns false for the page 'access_denied', but true for 'node/2'. So either the path module needs to be incorporated into into this function or the error message needs to be more descriptive.

ssb-1 commentedActually path module is not working at'all.
Whatever custom url being assigned to a node, Drupal ignores it returning "Page not found", unless directly using drupal/node/xx syntax.

Hmm, I don't follow HEAD but path module doesn't work at'all with the downloadable RC2.
Whatever custom url I give to any page, Drupal ignores it (returns page not found). Requesting the same page with /node/xx works fine though.
There is something I haven't try yet: I used upgrade.php to upgrade rc1 -> rc2. I will try to install RC2 from scratch to see if something goes wrong with the upgrader itself.

webchickCould you also try with the 6.x-dev tarball: http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupal-6.x-dev.tar.gz

webernet commentedPlease do not hijack issues!
The bug reported in the original issue and #1 have been fixed in another issue.
I can't reproduce the other path issue with HEAD.
