Getting version

as far as I know, there is no way to find the version of the install you have, via the web interface of drupal. It would make sense to show this for novice admins.. Like myself...!

when you refer to required versions for themes, and moduals I forget what version I am running, so would be usefull..
if you add this info, maybe worth having a status/config page, to show all the pertinant support information, that folks could cut and paste into forums that gives all the usefull info support folks need to help??
