Even though I have it setup in the access control that an anonymous user should be able to post to the forums, I get Access Denied when I try to post a new topic to the forums. I'm using Forum Access but disabling it didn't solve the issue and I even have it setup to allow anonymous users to post on the forum I'm working with. Any help would be great, thanks.

Access Denied should have registered a log entry - can we see it?

Does the error occur loading the "New Topic" form or submitting it?

It occurs on the New Topic form, I can never even see it. As for the log error, its very useless:

Type: access denied
User: Visitor
Location: node/add/forum/6
Referrer: forum/6
Message: node/add/forum/6
Severity: warning

I was unable to reproduce this on a clean install of D5.5 using just forums, or with Forum Access installed (both enabled and disabled). In all 3 cases, an anonymous user was able to post when the proper permissions were granted.

@ObsidianX - can you verify whether this is still an issue or not? Thanks.
