This post was in the wrong category..

It looks like you are having permission issues - the files had a certain permission on your old server, and have the wrong permissions now on the new server. You will very likely just need to make them writeable by your web server to solve the issue.

If you are not comfortable with doing the above, please contact your host. If you'd like more help, I'd recommend the Drupal.org fora as a better avenue to pose any support questions.

Best of luck!

Solved IT
for anyone having the same problem, this problem is caused because of permission, you just need to delete those css files ( in files/css/) and have drupal re-create them

hope this helps

one more thing. you also need to delete "css" folder can Drupal will also re-create it for you. Otherwise you will get an error message that your cache is not configured properly

This should be on the things to do when moving a site to a new domain. GREAT HELP!!! It took me 5 hours to find this and solve my problems.

Thanks Community

Yes, Removing the /css file also helped me. I had moved (copied) my site to a different domain name and it seemed to work well... then later, this bunch of errors showed up. Nice to know I can just delete and it's recreated!
Thanks -Bob O

Works great. You will have to remove css as well as js files itself as those are generated by drupal. Remove them, run update again and all will be resolved.

You are right, perfect. I just had to remove the directory and when drupal has created it again it has gone fine.

I had a lot of errors displayed regarding the js folder (sites/default/files/js/ ) and solved it by giving 777 permissions to that folder.
