Hi everyone,
I'm on Drupal 6.16 and i came across this issue about the breadcrumb :
In the breadcrumb, links pointing to <firstchild> are misbehaving : clicking on them takes you to a non-exisiting www.example.com/firstchild.
Is there a way to get those breadcrumb links to actually point to the child elements ?
I already checked issues like #732370: Go as deep as possible when building the active trail, but none of the patches seem to have any effect.
Bonus question: Do I have to clear menu cache to see the effects of changes made in menu.inc ?
Feel free to yell at me if you need further information.
Thanks a lot in advance.

sun<firstchild>is an unknown concept in Drupal core and thus not supported. If that is introduced by a contributed module, then ideally file a support request against that module.Yes. The entire menu router information is cached. You may use Devel module to clear caches more quickly during development.
