Not sure what's going on here. Followed the install to the point of going to index.php to set up but got this:

Warning: main(./includes/bootstrap.inc) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/babystep/public_html/index.php on line 12

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/bootstrap.inc' (include_path='.:/opt/php4/lib/php') in /home2/babystep/public_html/index.php on line 12

Permissions seem to be okay. Have set php_value include_path ".:/my/root/path/" in .htaccess. What else have I missed?

Okay, have managed to move past this and now have a seperate issue:

[Sun Jan 21 05:05:25 2007] [error] [client 203.129.61.235] Premature end of script headers: /root/file/path/index.php
SoftException in Application.cpp:231: File "/home2/babystep/public_html/index.php" is writeable by group

Going to index.php gives me a 403.

"/home2/babystep/public_html/index.php" is writeable by group

There you go. Your webserver obviously refuses to execute group-writeable scripts which is a good thing.

There were many things that went wrong after this with the file permissions etc as well as some other install setup issues.

Resolved with 5.2 in the end.
