Some of the admin pages e.g. /admin/build/themes don't finish loading. The page appears, but the loading indicator keeps turning. As a side effect, this stops the Color Picker and the dynamic admin options from appearing until I manually stop the page loading (at which point the onload function triggers and all the javascript is triggered?)
This occurs in both Firefox 1.5.9, IE5.5 and IE7. It occurs on all three themes I have tested - Garland, Minelli and Marvin.
Has anyone else encountered this?
It seems to be a problem with the page itself rather than one of the links because Firefox returns blank when I try to view the page source.
Kludge:
I can fix the problem by echoing any non-empty string (i.e. echo " " works but echo "" doesn't) after the call to theme(), either before or after drupal_page_footer(). Odd. Erm, could this be a problem with buffers not being flushed or something?

drummThere are a few buffers between the PHP script and users' screens, so the problem might be in a few places.
Does replacing the echo hack with flush() still improve things?
