I am not sure if this has been reported before.

These are the steps to reproduce the issue.

  1. Enable forum, comment and image modules
  2. Add new image field to comment fields (forum topic)
  3. Click comment display tab and set: image style: thumbnail linked to file
  4. In comment form attach image
  5. Try to view comment by clicking on preview button

Image does not display but error message appears:
Notice: Undefined index: uri in image_field_formatter_view() (line 504 of /home/ ... /modules/image/image.field.inc).
