Sorce code displays instead of image in my blog entry

Code such as this appears in place of the image that is being referenced:

[[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_original","fid":"3","attributes":{"class":"media-image","typeof":"foaf:Image"}}]]

When I view the image in the WYSIWYG it looks fine but if i preview it or save it I get the code instead.

WYSIWYG editor being used is: CKEditor 3.5.0.6260
