I have drupal set so that an anonymous user can access content, but cannot post comments, nor create any new content. Nevertheless, his navigation menu still has a "create content" navigation item in it. Clicking on it, gives an empty page (ie there is then no instructions on how to create content - normally the user is given a choice of offerings).

TDobes commentedI don't experience this problem with a CVS checkout as of today. Perhaps you have edited the "create content" menu item using menus.module? This will cause it to appear for all users. Try clicking "reset" next to the "create content" item in admin->menus. Does this fix the problem?

AlanChandler commentedAs I just said in a previous post to another issue, I have been on holiday. When I came back and repowered up my server, I had lost my database so I have have created it from scratch (and therefore lost the menu edits). My current arrangement doesn't show the symptoms.
