Hello,

After some troubles with ctools module, I've decided to uninstall MySQL because there was really something wrong with my drupal database. I also tried to reinstall drupal by decompressing the tar file in the dedicated directory, changed the file default.settings.php to settings.php and created the directory files, with the dedicated rights.
Of course I recreated my drupal database and tried to configure drupal via Firefox (http://localhost/drupal). So I have a page where I have to fill in the drupal database name, the login and password. When I validate, there is no message error and the installation is blocked at this level, in loop, I have to give these previous information?

What could be the source of the problem? Is it something wrong with MySQL, PHP, Apache or a right rule perhaps?

Best regards,

Bertrand

OK, thanks, indeed, it was a MySQL trouble, I did not understand what was the real trouble, but after de-installation/installation, it worked.
