Menu elements linked to node editing form

I add a menu item with admin/build/menu/menu/add and enter path node/n.

Won't it be logical that when editing node/n I see the menu settings filled with the information I used when creating the menu element?

I understand there can be many menu elements pointing to the same node. Would linking that information to node editing forms be helpful or not?

Have anybody thought about it?
