Multilingual Site breaks with External Links in Menu Items

Hello,

we have a multilingual drupal 6.20 site with language negotiation turned off. We have four language versions of primary and secondary links. Everything is working ok, until we try to link a menu item to an external site. Those menu items, that link to external sites, show up with nodes in all languages, thus breaking our site.
