Greetings:
I am a Drupal newbie, and while I have seen this error in the forums, none of the solutions so far have worked for me. I am in process of building a Drupal site using version 6.19 and the Garland theme. I am trying to put a MeeboMe chat widget in a block on my left sidebar. A nice IT guy gave the php code to use and told me how to enable the php input so I wouldn't just see the code on my page. Now, instead of the code, I see the following: parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\xampplite\htdocs\drupal\includes\common.inc(1695) : eval()'d code on line 22.
I've attached the code in question.
I have run it through Notepad 2 to make sure all my braces are in pairs, tried changing the <? and ?> to
, making sure there are no extra spaces anywhere, and even putting my meebo id# in the 'value' space on lines 5 and 6. I don't know enough coding to figure out why it won't work.
Can someone help me with this?

lprolman commentedone correction: "tried changing the <? and ?> to" should have the <> signs with php? and php? included.

lprolman commentedA friend helped me solve this. It didn't need php coding, a simple html code did the trick. Here it is for anyone else having trouble:
