When this module is enabled, you can configure any block to be dismissable. This is very useful for lightweight announcement blocks. Visitors can choose to hide the block just for the page they are viewing or to dismiss it permanently by accepting a cookie.
Features
Adds an X for people to dismiss any block you have configured to be dismissable, and prompts people to accept a cookie if they want the block to stay dismissed.
Post-Installation
Configure any block and choose the Dismissable block type:
- Block is not dismissable (the default)
- Block is temporarily dismissable
- Block stays dismissed if visitor agrees to cookie
Additional Requirements
No requirements other than Drupal core's block module.
