Create Flash based File Manager for administering files. With better layout, more features.
May require to add additional module like AMFPHP to work with Drupal backend.
We can create this like optional extension module for Disknode.

Make it JavaScript based, or better, integrate an existing script with a compatible license and you get my vote!

I agree, and lowered the priority.

I've been trying to find an easy way for my content managers to access "their" files on the site, and if the best one is Flash, then I'll use it, but I'd rather have something that does not require a plug-in.

This module itself might do it, I will try the dev release since we are on D6 now.
