I am also wondering if there will be support for Drupal 5.x
Perhaps it already works with Drupal 5.x
Should I just install and see or is that dangerous?

Nothing gonna happened, module from 4.7 will not be registered in 5.x.

Work going on, wait and see.

I unable to post new branch here due to some bureaucratic question. I can't start new module, coz this is NOT new module - only conversion and upgrade. I will try to clarify situation with developer and administration, If I will have no success - I will post here a link to package.

I wasn't able to download more than one file per node after allowing infinite files in the configuration. Is that a known bug with Drupal 5 and disknode?
