Hi Everyone,
I have a site setup that basically houses scripts from both a test environment and production environment. What I’m hoping to achieve is the ability to do a diff on different nodes.
For example
Node 1
Domain: test
Body: this is the body code
Node 2
Domain: prod
Body: this is the body code… with this change
I see that the URL that created is looking at the revisions and would be formatted like:
http://mysite/node/1/revisions/view/1/2
And I would think that I would be able to reformat it to look like:
http://mysite/node/1/revisions/view/2/3
It will show one side for diff, however it won’t populate the data from the other node. Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a better way to do this? Any help would greatly be appreciated!
Regards,
Aaron

robydago commentedI guess that the url format for diff is:
http://mysite/node/[nid]/revisions/view/[vid]/[vid]
because the diff module is hardcoded to compare different revisions ([vid]/[vid]) of the same node ([nid])

jcisio commentedTake a look at diff.module around line 240, there are two node_load functions. Before that, add an query to get nid from the 2nd vid.
