Is there anyway you can add a clickable icon next to the links? You would then click the + or - minus next to the link to expand/contract.
Site visitors just don't understand to double click on a link to go to it.
The jquerymenu module does this, but I prefer DHTML Menu because it has integration with the Menu Block Module.
Great module by the way.

arhak commentedI would like to see this feature in this module
but I think your answer might be in other modules like activemenu
nevertheless, +1 for your request

adaven commentedI submitted a patch a week ago that does exactly this. If you have a moment, please review it. #345016: Expand menu items when list icon clicked

Hallelujah ! (And Happy New Year for common sense.)
I do otherwise like DHTML, especially how snappy it is and how it tracks the node (opens to where you are).

One thing that prevents me from adopting Jquerymenu is that it does not seem to (or I can't figure out how to)
apply to general blocks, such as a book navigation block, only to menu blocks, which makes my site non-uniform.
Do please correct me if I am wrong there and make me happier with Jquerymenu.
