I had downloaded the DHTML Menu 6.x-2.2 for a project in Drupal 6.3.
I had placed the folder in sites/defaults/modiles/dhtml_menu first and was able to view in Site Building -> Modules and was able to enable the check box it along with Menu check box and submitted the save config button.
But when i tried to view the DHTML Menu in Site Building -> Menus , there is no additional menu option visible for Menu DHTML in Site Building -> Menus .
What went wrong.
I was sucessful in adding blog, polls in a similar manner which are in built, but when it came to Menu DHTML , I could not.
Any suggestions to fix this
Thanks
Nancy

ztyx commentedDHTML Menu adds functionality to existing nested menus. It does not add any new menu blocks.
Go to Administer -> Site building -> Blocks, look up a (nested) menu that you have somewhere on your site and click 'Configure' on it. Enable "Use the DHTML effect" and press "Save". Now try to click on any parent links in your menu. Should hopefully work.

cburschkaThank you for clearing this up, ztyx. Indeed, DHTML Menu was moved off the blocks system around 6.x-1.04, and has not used it since.
