If you develop Drupal websites for your clients, this is the module for you! Developer Mode makes it possible to easily disable certain parts of the admin panel for your clients, while keeping full control over all admin panel functionality for yourself and other developers. For example, User cant create,edit or delete content . They will be presented with Content Freeze message.
NOTE: this is not production ready, critical code is currently missing from the module, in short its not finished yet, so please only use this if you are interested in developing the module :)
Main options
- Avoid user to create/edit any content.
- Disable core, module or theme updates for non-developer users
- No configuration changes will be allowed when site is in development mode
- Put the site in development mode without taking your site offline
