crazysix commentedIf the conclusion on this topic requires any additional development or site building for the DCCO site, I'd be happy to help. I will also try to contribute a few ideas.

rickmanelius commentedHi Everyone,
Joe and I have a productive meeting last Friday. He is going to focus mostly on outreach to non-Drupal folks (universities, meetups, etc). On the other side, I'm going to complete that mailchimp email list import and ping last years list (I already have an email drafted, now I just need to provision/configure it and send a draft around for others to review).
Beyond that, there are several ideas we can move on (and if anyone can/wants to assist, let either of us know). Right now we're in the last 3 weeks, so now is a great time to get people that are on the fence.

matthews commentedI think we ought to indicate that the last day to be guaranteed a t-shirt is July 17th. After this, Ken has to order them. This should go out as camp tweet and then be re-tweeted by a bunch of us.

rickmanelius commented@matthewS. Sounds good. I now have the gmail account (thanks ultimateboy!) and will get the mailchimp account provisioned today. I can add that as a line item in the email. I'll also post for feedback before sending out.

greggmarshallThe t-shirt deadline should be prominently displayed on the site also. It isn't reasonable to expect people to happen to be following that Twitter account (or even use Twitter) to know the deadline.

sreynen commentedSeems like the t-shirt discussion belongs in #2152161: Create T-shirt design and get them ordered?
rickmanelius commented@jcrespo and @matthewS. I forwarded along a test email. Feel free to hit me up in IRC to discuss.

matthews commentedI do think we should over order the shirts - we just can't guarantee we'll have enough. Does anybody have a sense of the % we've over ordered in the past?

matthews commentedWe marketed.
