Location of confirm update

Unfortunately, the "Confirm update" dialogue is in an incredibly awkward location and unless someone knows to look for it, upon updating an event they'll just close the window without clicking on of the update options.

Is it possible to see this relocated to the top of the page or, even better, shifted into a dialogue box of some description. Forcing the user to take notice of it and perform the required action?
