I anticipate this project needs ongoing work and healthy interaction with the issue queue,

Do you mind forking the repository to your own Drupal.org sandbox / Github, and beginning work on:

  • Participation and progressing existing issues, providing feedback, merging if ready
  • Working on things not in existing issues: code cleanup, automated tests, documentation.

If the work is quality and maintained on an ongoing basis then I'm willing to add maintainer.
