We are a dedicated drupal development firm & have now gained a lot of experience with the drupal core, module & theme development along with really serious expertise in installation profiles/drupal distributions.
We are working on releasing really ready to use Drupal packages for various use cases like CMS, Social Networking, eCommerce solution, Image Gallery, Video Hosting site, News/Magazine version or a job site along with most wanted social networking kit.
We would love to have it all connected to the mother-ship (drupal.org), therefore we need a CVS account for our team, to enable them upload, update & contribute in the best possible way directly, instead of just giving downloads at our own site.
We are fully motivated & charged up to get drupal to the next level by removing the hurdles of "Not too good out of box experience + No Good support + No premium themes" by delivering all of them.
I hope you would accept this humble request & this application. We are going to release a long awaited installation profile for social networking site like there is buddypress for wordpress & jomsocial for joomla. We will be supporting & maintaining it dedicatedly.
I shall be thankful to you.
Best Regards,
dipps,
Websule.com - Drupal Specialists.
P.S. : We are Finally ready with our Beta release & can upload immediately.

heine commentedDuplicate of #693838: websule [websule] and #644242: websule [websule]. As those were won't fixed, keeping this open.
1. Team members shall have individual accounts.
2. See http://drupal.org/cvs-application/requirements
Are you planning to distrubute an install profile? If so, please upload the profile for review.
How do you plan to use drupal.org vs your own site?

What's the relationship between Drupalpoint and Websule?

websule commentedIt was nice talking to Kieran, He is simply best for his job. AMAZonING. We are so happy having clarified our position & I would like to thank Kieran Lal again for the call.
We would like to officially state & confirm that drupalpoint is now websule to respect drupal trademark & we would love to give back to community as much as we can. We will strictly abide by community terms & conditions as well as forum rules for all future activities.
Also, I have a quick question here.
We are all ready with 2 modules, 2 installation profiles & one theme. Can we upload all of them here?
Here is a brief note on how they are suppose to work:
Modules:
1. druplus - Drupal CMS Module. (with few sub modules like druplus_cms, druplus_blogger, druplus_forums, druplus_seo etc.)
[dependencies] => few contributed modules like WYSWYG & imce, pathauto, Captcha, poormanscron, token etc.
Optional, but recommended => CCK family, Views & Image family.
2. drupsocial - Drupal Social Networking Module. (again with sub modules like drupsocial_profiles, drupsocial_relations, drupsocial_media, drupsocial_messaging, drupsocial_groups, drupsocial_flags, drupsocial_locations, drupsocial_events, drupsocial_classifieds, drupsocial_userpoints, drupsocial_chat etc)
[dependencies] => Druplus module* + many contributed modules like content_profile, activity, facebook_status, privatemsg, groups, user_relationships etc.
Installation Profiles:
1. druplusinstall & 2. drupsocialinstall
Quite obviously, both are independent of each other but druplusinstall will require druplus module & drupsocialinstall will require both druplus as well as drupsocial modules.
Theme:
1. drupbase
Highly configurable theme settings with 5 ready to switch color schemes. recommended as default theme for both of the above.
Why we created two modules plus two installation profiles and not just two installation profiles only?
Because, we wanted users with existing drupal installation to be able to utilize the same set of features & options as a fresh installation profile of the same would provide. I hope it makes sense.
Why so many sub-modules?
Again, for obvious reasons of offering wide range of flexibility. All the sub-modules in drupsocial are independent of each other, providing user various possible combinations for a set of features. for example, a user can choose a set of profiles+chat+blogs+forums+groups & someone else can simple go for a set of profiles+relations+media+messaging, and so on..
PS: If any moderator can delete drupalpoint account please, as we will be applying separate accounts for all our team members now.

gregglesGlad to hear you've had a good call with Amazon :)
I think you should upload the two modules and theme and one or both profiles.

avpadernoHello, and thanks for applying for a CVS account. I am adding the review tags, and some volunteers will review the code, pointing out what it needs to be changed.
We review only a module / theme per applicant; pick up the one you want reviewed, and attach it in a comment here.
Ravish commentedYes websule,
You need to upload a module, distribution or a theme for review. The community will review it before approving CVS account.
websule commentedOk,
Sorry for being away for a while, have been a busy week working with first release of drupal commons.
I will be uploading code tomorrow for reviews.
Thanks

michelleIt's been a week and I have to admit I'm curious to see this... Looks like you duplicated a whole lot of existing modules there...

avpadernoActually, it has been two weeks since I reported that the archive must be uploaded in a comment here.

websule commentedHi Michelle,
It`s very strange to hear such a comment from an experienced & respected drupal contributor like you.
You can see.. we have just made a request for CVS account approval and are in the process of uploading any piece of content yet! Where could you see the duplicate code n all?
Also, drupal common, open publish & mostly all drupal distributions use many contributed modules like views, cck, author pane, activity, token etc.. does that mean stealing?
We have created three drupal distributions which we are cleaning up for release. they do use many contributed modules, do you think it is illegal or bad practice to do this?
If so, your drupal modules are also using drupal hooks, please rewrite them to be original work of yours not a rewrite of various other modules. it`s very offending to have such taunting comments for no good reason at all.
I am here to answer everybody & now I challenge you and everybody else (who are feeling some sort of heat) to prove us stealing or copying code from any other theme or module or installation profile.
websule commentedI will be uploading our first proposed release : a drupal 6 & 7 theme. (blackish & grayish in color scheme).
I will be uploading the cleaned code in next 24 hours for experts to review & comment.
Also, I will be uploading the latest version theme demo on websolutionsmx.com (currently using month old prototype version).
michelle@websule: I didn't accuse you of stealing anything. You listed off names of modules such as "druplus_forums" that sound like they are duplicating existing efforts. I'm just curious to see what you did and how different they are from existing modules. While duplicating is not forbidden, we do encourage people to work together as much as possible rather than writing their own versions of existing modules.
Michelle

avpadernoPlease read the following links as this is very important information about CVS applications.
Drupal.org has moved from CVS to Git! This is a very significant change for the Drupal community and for these applications. Please read Migrating from CVS Applications to (Git) Full Project Applications and Applying for permission to opt into security advisory coverage on how this affects and benefits you and the application process. In short, every user has now the permissions necessary to create new projects, but they need to apply for opt into security advisory coverage. Without applying, the projects will have a warning on projects that says:
