I`d like to contribute a module named Ajaxcache Block, which provides fast way of making 3rd party module`s blocks to load via ajax on cached pages by few manipulations on administration pages (currently supported only Authcache module - http://drupal.org/project/authcache).
It provides following functionality:
- selecting desired drupal bootstrap level for a block
- executing custom user php code for setting block default pre-ajax output that will be cached and data that will be transfered to response building function
- executing custom php code for manipulating transfered data - an easy mechanism to setup complicated blocks before invoking their op 'view', which will generate an output. Integration example for Organic groups (http://drupal.org/project/og) block 0 is included in README.TXT
- overriding block`s html id, where response output will be pasted
- setting html id mask for blocks not providing their own html id
- setting pre-ajax output for blocks not providing theit own output

Ajaxcache Block also features:
- smart algorythm of invoking only currently presented set of ajaxcached blocks on a page
- sending and recieving all the data via just one request/response for a current set of blocks
- slight integration with drupal page render mechanism and with block administration and configuration pages, no core patches required
- default behaviour is friendly to an end-user (for most blocks you shouldn't specify any settings to make everything work), but variety of options allows you to fine tune the process, if you wish

Ajaxcache Block is a complex solution, providing quick and lightweight way to ajaxify blocks for cached pages and setup one with specail parameters and code if needed.
It also has weak dependences on Authcache and could be rewritten for cooperation with other ajax and cache modules.
